                Division Schools Press Conference 2nd placer in Photojournalism (Filipino), Luis Adrian S. Espuelas, captures sceneries, faces and events with a click of his camera.

              Dian, as what his friends called him, is a grade five pupil of Tenejero Elementary School.  He is the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Federico J. Espuelas and currently residing at Tenejero, Balanga City.  He’s also one of the brightest pupils in his class.

When DSPC-winning photojournalist looks back on his pictures taken during the contest, his favorites frames are those with shadow shots.

He said that he likes photography because he can capture the beauty of life especially those which are candid and stolen.  He prefers candid imagery because he can capture natural smiles, expressions and body movements.

“A photographer has to learn how to listen to those who have more knowledge and experience in photography because you can learn much from them,” this is what he told me when I asked him what he did to win the contest.
