To inform children about the harmful effects of illegal drugs and bullying, Philippine National Police (PNP) in Balanga City conducted a symposium about drug addiction and anti-bullying on August 4.

Police Corporal 1 (PC1) Jayson F. San Pedro said that drugs can cause mental disability and can even lead to death.

“Learn how to say no when someone is asking you to try it,” he added as a reminder for the children to stay away from drugs.

Police Officer 2(PO2) Reichel Raymundo advised the pupils to be friendly and kind to have a good relationship with everybody in the school.

“Dapat iwasan ang drugs dahil masama po ang epekto nito. Hindi na rin po ako manunukso ng kaklase ko, bawal po kasi ang bully,” said Jade Dabu, grade four pupil.
