Champions? Are they born to be or train to be one? Many of us want to be a champion in their chosen field. That’s why we train or develop ourselves to be one.

In our school, pupils are preparing themselves for the most awaited event for athletes, the Balanga City Meet set this December.

Balanga City Meet is an annual gathering of players in the different field of sports where the deserving athletes will be chosen to compete for the Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association (CLRAA) Meet.

Every day, after class the chosen pupils of different sports are training hard together with their coaches to be the best that they can be. They train and develop themselves to give honor not just for their school but for themselves and maybe someday they can be a great athlete.

“To the aspiring athletes of our school, remember that the essence of sports is striving to win but winners are those who handle failure better. Even if you lose, there will always be a time to get up. Champions are often those who coped with their difficulties, setbacks or losses better that their opponents,” said Sir Rocky Solomon, basketball coach.
